At a time when we are normally closed, which is Friday nights from ten to midnight, we light up the course with NITELITE products, shut down our regular lighting, turn up the music, light the Tiki Tourches, and watch tons of people have a great time for two hours! We were not sure what our turnout would be, but were pleasantly surprised that we made our initial investment back the very first night. We plan to hold the Moonlite Golf Friday and Saturday nights in September and October when business typically drops off for the season. We plan to sell sweatshirts, coffee and hot cocoa as well. We are a new busienss, only one year. My husband and I run the business alone and have been searching for new ways to make more success. The Caterpillar Dealers Association event went great! We hosted 140 dinner guests for our Closest-To- The-Hole and putting contests that night and everyone had a blast. For most, it was their first time experience playing with glow golf products. We even had ladies in evening gowns and high heels laying down their drinks to take a swing! Under the Maui sky, the glow balls looked like shooting stars falling into the Pacific Ocean. In. a very systematic but casual way, we were able to have at least 60 contestants play both contests in an hour. Putting was just as fun. They liked using the ball as many times as possible. It's tough reading the green's break in the dark! Its been a couple of years now since I've started offering this service to our 160,000 golfers that come through Wailea every year. This has become a nice opportunity for our company to increase profits and our golf professionals to generate additional income. The best part of it all is that the golfer will always remember Wailea for the fun time at our range's upper tee box with food, wine, music, dancing, and golf. Aloha, Rick Castillo, PGA PRACTICE TEE DR JEFFERSON CLAIRTON • PA 13025 We held our first NITELITE® Golf Tournament last month. Talk about fun! It was a scramble format shotgun start. Our TPT 9 hole par 3 golf course greens were outlined with NITELITE® tees. The flagsticks were lit with two 22" lightstick necklaces coiled around them. The holes had a 3" lightdisc inside. For tee markers we used 6" lightsticks. After a brief explanation of the rules and contest being played on assigned tee, sounded the horn and immediately the laughs started. The balls looked like SHOOTING STARS and seemed to get brighter as the night went on. The NITELITE® golf balls reacted like regular golf balls holding our greens well and stayed well past tournament play of 2 hours. The golfers were instructed to use,) club more. Only a couple of balls were lost (in the water). Which I forgot to light. Next time it will be outlined with red 6" lightsticks. The beverage cart was lit with 22" lightsticks passing out drinks, directing the lost golfers, and selling the occasional ball or two. After the tournament we had a cookout. Prizes were awarded for First Place, which were 3 under par. Two closest to the pin awards mid two longest putts awards one each for men and women. Everyone had a great time and the cookout lasted past midnight. The golfers bragged about their great shots and laughed about the bad ones. The two big questions were, WHEN is the next one and how do we SIGN UP? C.N. IS BELIEVING, INC products were cost effective, easy to use, just tee it up and most of all FUN. I've tried other products that say they're longer but don't stay lit long enough to play a round or even a hole. Playing is Believing in C.N. IS BELIEVING. The Practice Tee Golf Center Dear Charley, I just wanted to take a minute to tell you what a great job you and your team are doing. As a result of your attention to service and dedication to your product, you are our single source for glow products. We have been offering night golf to all of our group business for well over a year now and demand is greater than ever. We will host several shows in the first quarter alone, generating a significant amount of additional revenue not only for the golf shop but, for our Golf Professionals in charge. Our putting green at "Golf Overlook" gets turned into a spectacular night theater complete with a beautiful dinning area, colored spot lights, music and the soothing sounds of Puerto Rico's nature. Our putting green becomes a nine-hole putting course, appropriately challenged, with obstacles made of sand, trees, and a variety of props lining each hole. Once the golf course is shaped, we add your glow products as the final brilliant touch. As you can imagine, the entire setting becomes a live theater of conversation, dancing and night putting. We have yet to have a group walk away not completely enthralled by the experience.
